Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Linkkers ("Linkkers", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you connect your LinkedIn account and link your website to your Linkkers profile, and when you use our related websites and services (the "Service").

We are committed to processing your personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations, and with applicable data-protection laws in the regions where we operate. By connecting your LinkedIn account or using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

1. Who we are

Linkkers is the data controller responsible for your personal data under this policy. Linkkers is a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia [registered legal name, commercial registration number, and registered address to be confirmed].

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at support@linkkers.com.

2. Information we collect

When you choose to connect your LinkedIn account using LinkedIn’s authorization (OAuth), you grant us permission to access certain information from your LinkedIn profile. We only request the data needed to provide the Service, and we collect:

  • Basic profile information — your name, profile photo, headline, and LinkedIn member identifier.
  • Email address — the primary email address associated with your LinkedIn account.
  • Professional profile information — your work experience, positions, education, skills, and other profile details you have made available through LinkedIn.
  • The website you link — the personal, portfolio, or professional website URL you choose to connect to your Linkkers profile, and publicly available information from that page.
  • Technical and usage data — information such as your device type, browser, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, and how you interact with the Service, collected automatically to keep it secure and reliable.

3. How we use your information

We use the personal data we collect to:

  • Create, authenticate, and maintain your Linkkers account and profile.
  • Display your professional profile and the website you have linked.
  • Match you with relevant roles and help recruiters discover you, where you have chosen to be discoverable.
  • Provide, personalize, and improve the Service and develop new features.
  • Communicate with you about the Service, including service-related notices and support.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you provide when you connect your LinkedIn account and link your website; to perform the contract under which we provide the Service to you; to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service in a way that does not override your rights; and to comply with our legal obligations. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described below.

5. LinkedIn and third-party platforms

We access your LinkedIn data through LinkedIn’s official API and only after you authorize the connection. Our use of information received from LinkedIn adheres to LinkedIn’s API Terms of Use. We do not receive your LinkedIn password, and you can revoke Linkkers’ access at any time from your LinkedIn account settings under connected apps.

Your use of LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn’s own privacy policy, which we do not control.

6. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • With recruiters and hiring teams — where you have chosen to be discoverable, so they can find and contact you.
  • With service providers — trusted vendors who host, operate, and support the Service on our behalf, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • For legal reasons — where required to comply with the law, a legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Linkkers, our users, or the public.
  • In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

7. International data transfers

Linkkers operates internationally, and your personal data may be processed or stored outside your country of residence, including outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Where we transfer data across borders, we take appropriate safeguards consistent with the PDPL and applicable law to protect it.

8. Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, and comply with our legal obligations. When you delete your account or withdraw the LinkedIn connection, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information by law.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Saudi PDPL, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy of it.
  • Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Withdraw your consent to processing, including by disconnecting your LinkedIn account.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your personal data.
  • Request that your data be provided in a portable format, where applicable.

10. How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, or to disconnect your LinkedIn account and delete your data, email us at support@linkkers.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also revoke Linkkers’ access directly from your LinkedIn account’s connected-apps settings at any time.

11. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure — to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the Service works.

13. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.

15. Contact us
